This policy explains what personal data Mail Eazy ("we", "us") collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using the Service you agree to this policy.

1. Information we collect

Account data: your name, email address and profile picture from Google when you sign in.
Resume and request content: the resume you upload or paste, the details of the role you want, and the profile we extract from it.
Generated content: the emails and company suggestions produced for you.
Usage data: your plan, number of emails sent and remaining, and subscription status.
Payment data: subscription and payment status from Razorpay. We never see or store your card or bank details.
Contact messages: your name, email and message if you use our contact form.
Technical data: basic logs such as IP address, used for security and abuse prevention (for example, rate limiting).

2. Gmail access

When you sign in, Google asks you to let Mail Eazy send email on your behalf. We use this permission only to send the emails you choose to send, from your own address. We do not read, search, or store the contents of your inbox. The access token is used for the send request and is not kept on our servers. You can revoke access at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions.

Mail Eazy's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

3. How we use your information

to generate cold emails and suggest companies based on your resume and requirements;
to send emails you approve through your Gmail account;
to manage your account, plan limits and payments;
to respond to your messages and provide support;
to keep the Service secure and prevent abuse.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for advertising.

4. Service providers

We share data only with providers needed to run the Service:

Supabase – authentication and database hosting.
Google – sign-in and Gmail sending.
OpenAI – your resume and request text are sent to generate emails and find companies.
Razorpay – payment processing.
Resend – delivery of contact-form messages to us.

These providers process data under their own privacy terms. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights and users.

5. Emails you send

Emails you send go to recipients you choose and leave from your Gmail account. Recipients receive them under your name and address, and we cannot recall them. You are responsible for complying with applicable anti-spam and privacy laws when contacting people.

6. Data retention and deletion

We keep your data while your account is active. You can ask us to delete your account and associated data (resume, profile and usage records) at any time by contacting us. We may retain limited records where required by law, such as payment records.

7. Security

We use industry-standard measures, including encrypted connections and access controls, to protect your data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us.

9. Cookies

We use only essential browser storage to keep you signed in. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

10. Children

Mail Eazy is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect data from children.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date above shows the latest version; continued use means you accept the changes.
